SPRING Social Prescribing Project – A Community Approach to Health and Wellbeing
We assist anyone 18 years and over to improve their health and wellbeing by supporting greater independence, reducing reliance on healthcare and motivating positive change.
SPRING can help to address social, emotional and practical needs by supporting and connecting people to sources of support and opportunities available in their local community. For example:
• Social clubs and peer support groups
• Exercise and physical health
• Arts and Crafts
• Counselling
• Advice and guidance
• Volunteering
Could SPRING work for you or someone you know?
People who experience social isolation, low mood, mild depression, long term conditions, pain management or physical inactivity may benefit from this social prescribing so if you or someone you know would like to be referred to us please phone or email.
We also have volunteering role opportunities to assist the project.
