Social Security Scotland
is the new benefits agency set up by the Scottish Government to deal with the welfare benefits the Scottish Government now has the powers to develop and deliver in Scotland. The manager and the coordinator for Dumfries and Galloway are based at the hub and manage a team of outreach workers across the region assisting people to claim these new benefits.
